At the end of last year, I saw some of my friends doing well with Spotify and making some money off of it. I started thinking it was maybe a good idea to finally get my Spotify out there too. I admittedly don’t approve of some of the things Spotify has done, but in our current time of crazy inflation, etc., this appears to be an avenue that could make it easier to make more music. To me, the positives outweigh the negatives in this current unfriendly climate.
The best thing about Spotify is that with the basic version, you pay absolutely nothing. All you have to do is listen and the artist gets paid for each play.
There is also Apple Music, which pays artists more than Spotify, and Bandcamp, where you can stream for free or buy tracks. Mine cost a dollar each on BandCamp. I will include the links below. You can also find them in my bio:
